Lake Champlain Charters for Salmon & Trout & Walleye

Captain Bill’s Boat | Directions

Champlain Fishing Charters Lake Champlain Fishing – April 24, 2010

Captain Bill Birch, an avid hunter & fisherman has 20 years experience Fishing Lake Champlain. We offer fishing for Salmon & Trout out of Charlotte, VT.

The frostbite fleet has been fishing most of the winter as much of the lake didn’t freeze. They have managed to boat a few salmon & lakers.

We’re once again looking forward to another great spring fishing season. Some of the best fishing of the year starts around the 3rd week of April and it stays hot right into July. The fish are in the top 10 feet of water and are very hungry.

A new Walleye record was set this past winter by Richard Levesque’s. The fish weighed 14.55lbs and was 32 1/2 inches long and had a 20-inch girth. Check out my photo’s for a picture of the fish.
